On the final day of the Waterloo Cup meeting (Sunday 18th September, 2011) the draw was conducted to determine who would win the 4 berth Lockwood dog float.  Throughout the 2011 coursing season every greyhound the competed  in a coursing meeting had a ticket placed in the draw.  There were 781 greyhounds in all that had tickets in the draw.

During the afternoon tea break the GRV Chairman Mr Peter Calliard drew the lucky ticket # 463.  Donna Matrix who coursed at the Lang lang Coursing club meeting conducted on the 14th August was run out in the semi final, however, she is still a winner or at least her trainer Mark Strahan is a winner.

Mark does not have a dog float and takes his greyhounds racing in his car, so you can image how happy Mark is that he now has a 4 berth Lockwood dog float to take his greyhounds racing and trialling in.

When Mark takes possession of his dog float the moment will be captured and posted on this page.

Many thanks to all those trainers to assisted in keeping our numbers at an acceptable level for measurement against our key performance indicators.
