The NCAV would like to thank Rapidvite for their continud support of our coursing awards.

As secretary I have double checked the points calculation as there appeared to be some discrepancy in last weeks points.  I can now saw that I have recalculed and rectified any discrepancies and am now confident that these points reflect the true positions.

I often receive enquiries as to how the points are calculated and whilst there are rules  participants need to understand that different events attract different points.  It can be quite time consuming "doing the points" each week.  Events such as the Classic events of the Derby, Oaks and Waterloo Cup attract different points.  Keep in mind that there generally and especially the Waterloo Cup is a 2 day event with 6 courses for the two finalists.
